    This pillbox is in enamel (cold enameling). The technique is attractive, with small applications and a painted scene as the main decoration. A woman in period costume is reading, with a bird beside her.
    Unfortunately, it is very damaged, with a poor restoration (it has the merit of existing). There is rubbing and wear to the decoration and gilding, micro-scratches from use, small deformations on the collar, pitting and missing decoration around the rim, but it remains in an acceptable state of preservation for the period.
