    Tibet, early 20th century, very pretty bronze statue of an arhat seated on a flat base, the left foot resting on the outside, the right foot folded under it. An arhat is a being who has achieved enlightenment without having reached the state of Buddha. He holds a Buddhist rosary (Nenju) in his hands.
