With a father who was a famous journalist with the Washington Post and a mother who was an art historian and editor of the Gazette des Beaux-Arts for thirty years, Philippe VISSON devoted himself entirely to painting at a very young age, exhibiting his work for the first time in New York at the age of sixteen.
