These two urns, by their shape, their decoration and the choice of their materials, are perfectly emblematic of the end of the 18th century. Illustrating the transition from the Louis XVI style to neoclassicism, which prevailed at the very beginning of the following century, these two vases with narrow gadrooned gilded bronze necks receive the delicate leaves of the handles on their shoulders. On the Nicolo onyx body are suspended garlands of flowers carved from the same material. The foot decorated with leaves and laurel wreaths testifies to this revival of ancient taste conveyed, in particular, by the discoveries made at Pompeii and Herculaneum.

These two neoclassical urns are in perfect condition.
