Nepal, early 20th century, very rare miniature carved wooden phurbu featuring three heads of deities surmounted by a tiger, the three-pointed blade decorated with three stylized snakes. The antique textile on the grip is designed to protect the llama's fingers from the force of the phurbu. Beautiful dark brown wood patina.
Good condition except for slight wear from use and age.
Height 15.5 cm (21 cm with the base custom-made by its previous owner). The scale indicator on the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand.
