    Mario Bonamici, born in Paris in 1912 and deceased in Lausanne in 2002. Born into a family of Italian painters, whose parents arrived in France in 1910, Mario Bonamici was introduced to drawing and painting at a very early age. From the age of sixteen, he attended the School of Decorative Arts and made his debut as an illustrator in the renowned Jarach and Chambry studio. He frequented the worlds of fashion, theater, and cinema. His brilliant drawing skills were noted, and he devoted part of his professional life in France and Switzerland as a fashion designer alongside his career as a painter.
    This beautiful and large work, an oil on panel from the 1970s, rich in color, depicts a view of the famous Place du Tertre in Paris's Montmartre district.
