MAI TRUNG THU -1906-1980-, a beautiful and unusual pair of prints on paper depicting a young girl and boy wearing traditional clothing. They were made in the 1970s after ink and color works on titled silk dating from 1960. The same pair of prints on paper were sold for 400 euros excluding fees by Millon in Paris at an auction dedicated to Vietnamese art on October 31, 2022.
It is rare to find the girl-boy set.
Unit dimensions: Width 11 cm. Height 19.5 cm (16 cm x 24.5 cm with frame).
Good condition except for some light wear on the original frames.
Light and dark areas are merely reflections on the glass.
