France, 1950s/1960s, very pretty plaster bust depicting Aphrodite, ancient Greek goddess of beauty, love and desire.
Beautiful quality work restoring the beauty of the details. The whiteness of the material tends to imitate that of marble. A cartouche mentioning the name of the goddess is placed at the top of the circular base highlighting the subject, under the chest.
Height 52.3 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
Good condition except for slight normal wear and tear and no impact on the beautiful aesthetic.
