Gilt bronze cornet vase decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel,
embellished with two annular handles and four feet topped with a stylized lion's head.
The whole rests on a circular gilt bronze and cloisonné enamel top, adorned with a foliage scrollwork decoration
in the so-called Byzantine style.
The high quality of the enamel is typical of Ferdinand Barbedienne's production.
A wide range of colors were used for the decoration.
