    (restoration to right arm and neck, and missing parts)

    Carved wooden Buddha statuette, standing with hands in the gesture of fearlessness. His garment is richly decorated with friezes of flowers, punctuated with transparent cabochons and enhanced with gold lacquer, traces of which remain.

    Appraised by Cabinet Portier in 2018.

    Provenance: Former private collection in Paris, France.
