Superb and rare anthropomorphic Kwandalha vessel or healing pot, Cham-Mwana from Nigeria, in terracotta dating from the 19th century. This piece is similar to a similar model found in the Barbier-Mueller collection in Geneva, referenced in the inventory and in the book devoted to African terracotta in this museum.
Beautiful crusty patina. Good condition except for an old lack at the level of the eye, without affecting the beautiful aesthetics.
Height 27 cm without the wooden ring serving as a base.
We take particular care with our packaging by using optimum protection. The shipment is made with insurance included. Shipping rates: Metropolitan France: 25 euros, countries of the European Union and Switzerland: 35 euros, countries of Eastern Europe and the Maghreb: 65 euros, United States, Australia, Asia and the rest of the world: 115 euros.
