    Jimma SPOON
    Oromo culture, South-West Ethiopia
First half of the 20th century
    Brown horn
    Length: 31; W.: 3.8 cm

Spoon made from a section of brown horn whose tapered, conical handle is partly hollowed out and engraved with three ringed rings. The junction has a pointed cutout of the horn and the end of the handle is pierced with a cavity that probably allows it to be hung.

The spoon is an extension of the handle and shows signs of use.
