    Angola, Lwena people, first third of the 20th century, elegant and refined hardwood statue with a reddish-brown patina representing a female figure standing on a domed base, hands placed on the belly, expressive face marked by tribal scarifications and hairstyle in two large striated buns. Very fine patina covers this ideal of feminine beauty among the Lwena.
    Height 24.5 cm (25 cm with metal base). The scale indicator on the last photograph is a small lighter of a well-known brand.
    Good condition except for slight wear and cracks, normal for its age and not affecting the aesthetics of this piece.
