Large ZULU dance shield from South Africa. The object measures 120 cms excluding the base, with a convex surface carved in a semi-light wood of hard consistency with decoration of hollowed vertical lines with a handle carved into the internal part of the shield. This is an object from the second half of the 20th century (around 1950 to 1970) rare of this age and really very aesthetic and decorative.
