Nigeria, beautiful old pair of ibeji figures dedicated to the cult of twins, depicted standing with their heads crowned by tall, characteristic headdresses. They are adorned with carved necklaces and red glass beads, and wear beautiful cowrie-covered costumes. Superb, intense patina.
