Monoxyle statue showing a standing female character, arms along the body with hands placed around the navel. The legs are slightly bent, the torso and neck are long. The face, of very fine workmanship, is regular and delicate and is topped with a very beautiful hairstyle. We find all the codes of beauty of the Baoulé (softness, scarifications, elegance, work on the headdress). The eyelids are slightly lowered as a sign of respect. This female character rests on a round pedestal decorated with horizontal lines.
This is a representation of Blolo Bla (wife of the afterlife).
Blackened wood with patina of use (missing at the base).
