Songye fetish from the DRC in hard wood of about 56cms, an ancient object from the first half of the 20th century. A powerful sculpture with a deep patina as if vitrified. The statue is in good condition with a few accidents here and there without affecting the aesthetics of the object, stripped of its original horn on the top of the head, traces of this appendage are still apparent, thus desecrated, intended for trade as a travel souvenir for visitors.
