A lovely, very old Mossi doll in the traditional Boulsa style, with a very fine, shiny brown patina. Wear and rubbing have partially erased the scarification marks engraved on the doll, particularly on the face and stomach, proof of the devotion and careful care it must have received, and also of its age!
