Large, very old 80 cm sculpture from the very beginning of the 20th century (or before). The very hard wood, the patina and the aging of this remarkable object are a "textbook case" for ancient objects from Cameroon of these ethnic groups, this aspect is absolutely inimitable and unfalsifiable "anything that is not like that n 'is not......".  A statue completely comparable to what was sold during the sale of Dr Pierre Harter in Drouot at Loudmer in 1995. Our object comes from the Collection of Mr P.Fougerouse (famous rally-raid racing driver in particular from the DAKAR in the years 1970 to 1985) put together meticulously and tastefully through his many journeys on the African continent. Truly a first-rate item for a collector to absolutely grab.
