Anthropomorphic fetish of ancestor in wood with shiny patina

The fetish represents a woman standing on a circular base on short, massive legs. The long body holds a small chest, the arms detached from the body and adorned with bracelets, the hands placed on the abdomen and surrounding a prominent umbilicus. A long ringed neck receives a head with hair treated in long strands brought back, the face with almond-shaped eyes, closed eyelids framing a blunt nose and overhanging a mouth with thin lips, the cheeks subtly scarified.
