Wooden helmet mask depicting a stylized buffalo pigmented in black, echoing the feminine gender, the night and witches, and brown ocher, referring to the masculine gender and blood. A large pair of semicircular horns occupy the top of the mask, almost joining together to form an openwork disc. Its nasal stop continues to the forehead, its ears are marked in two rectangular outgrowths and its rectangular section mouth is ajar - reminiscent of the large jaw of the corcodile.
He appeared on the occasion of funeral rites or of passage of the Kaa festival and is associated with the Vara cult.
