Very beautiful old Pende mask from the DRC from the first half of the 20th century. This object is complete with its original raffia headdress (approximately 47 ces excluding base), the quality of the sculpture is quite splendid with the remarkable finesse of its features thus accentuating the expression which emanates.
This mask was part of the P. Fougerouse collection (famous professional rally-raid driver from the 1970s-85s) having built up a magnificent, recognized collection during his numerous journeys in Africa.
