Dyptic sundial, in a Dieppe ivory case with engraved denticle decoration, inside a movable analemma compass and an equinoctial dial on a paper background bearing city names; on the movable door a lunar calendar; on the back a perpetual calendar engraved in Arabic numerals and signed "Jacques Senecal ADieppe fecit", mid-17th century.
The dial is in good condition. Superb quality. Hook clasp. Signed Jacques Sénécal, active in Dieppe between 1660 and 1685.
