    This cane knob shows great technical prowess, with two lions in action (a lion and perhaps a lioness). The whole is from the late 19th century, beautifully sculpted, with a fine technique in the lion's eyes and open mouth. Probably Asian.
    There is some rubbing and scratching throughout the piece, as well as stains, which can be seen in our photos, and rust on the screw thread. However, the piece remains in a decent state of preservation.
