The Provinciales, or the Letters written by Louis de Montalte to a provincial of his friends and to the RR. PP. Jesuits, with the moral Theology of the said Fathers and new casuists: represented by their practice, and by their books, divided into five parts, Cologne, Nicolas Schoute, 1659.
Large in-12, 2 vols in one volume, full brown leather, spine with five ribs, title and fleurons in gilt, 20 pages for the eighteen letters, 240 for the other parts.
Small crack at the upper hinge of the back cover, missing at the bottom corner of the front cover as well as the headdress at the head, foxing in the outer margins of the first notebook. Initials, headbands, tailpiece.
