Beautiful ball holder in pressed cardboard or polychrome boiled cardboard representing a Rooster with outstretched wings from the famous play by Edmond Rostand "Chantecler" from 1910.
The play Chantecler was performed for the first time on February 7, 1910 at the Porte Saint Martin theater in Paris.
