Rare polychrome bronze representation of the famous revolutionary Jean-Paul Marat. Represented in profile and wearing the Phrygian cap, the latter decorated with the cockade, the hairstyle in a ponytail tied with a ribbon.
Inscription on the right " NEOUVANT LE CORROMPRE ILS L'ONT ASSASSINÉ" above the Masonic symbol of a level pierced with a dagger.
At the bottom of the composition, the inscription "MARAT L'AMI DU PEUPLE".
