Rare small piece of furniture of mastery in solid walnut, with perfect proportions, respecting the dimensional of a chest of drawers.
Certainly made by a journeyman whose work had to be exemplary, this miniature has four drawers. The first one, hidden in the belt of the chest, opens with two notches from below. The other three drawers are recessed and decorated with finely chiseled knobs, allowing their opening. In the middle, they are equipped with a heart-shaped entrance in bone, contrasting with the essence of the walnut. At the top, one of the drawers is equipped with an original lock in working order, accompanied by its ring key.
On each side, this small chest of drawers presents two beautiful columns with oblong capitals. They rest on a square base supported by plates.
The top and sides are composed of a single panel.
This rare small piece of furniture is a unique work that required meticulousness and experience.
A collector's item, it will seduce you by its singularity and its golden ornaments.
