The Charivari is an ornamental accessory of traditional costumes worn by women and men, characterized by a chain with links, equipped with several hunting pendants.
The jaws of small rodents or martens represent amulet pendants characteristic of these jewels.
This pendant is mounted on nickel silver with a frieze decoration of pastillé heart-shaped rai-de-coeur.
