Very fine repoussé copper daubière or braisière bearing a coat of arms surmounted by a corona on one side and fleurs-de-lis on the other. Riveted handles. Finely embossed and chased work. Round-tail mounting. Old tin-plated interior. Provenance: France, 18th century.
Dimensions: Length with handles 45 cm, width 22.5 cm, height 20 cm. Good overall condition, with some age marks, small dents and scratches on the underside of the daubière. Weight: 4.9 kg.
